L-1 Visa is for Companies which have Offices in the USA and abroad and who wish to transfer their employees to USA using L-1 Visa which is valid for up to 7 years. The only condition in this type of visa is that the person seeking this visa must have been employed by the company for a minimum of 12 months.
The other types of Visa include the EB-2 visa issued for Masters or Doctoral Degree professionals.
